Joining the Diddly Squat Team

I grew up in Chad so to launch my Chadlington range, I’ve joined the lovely team up at Diddly Squat Farm Shop and will be there with my Pop-Up Shop this Spring. It's really just an excuse to hang out with the gorgeous little lambs.

So come and visit me in the Lambing Barn! (You can even just hop on the bus, as it stops directly outside).

Supporting Oxfordshire Mind

For Christmas this year, various Caroline Gibson Prints cards will give a £1 donation to the charity Mind. I’ll then extend throughout next year on various designs in order to raise funds for this important charity.

The Missing Bean Cafe opening

The Missing Bean bakery-cafe opened this morning, and I’ll be there. Not only do they make really scrummy sarnies, but their walls will be adorned with my local lino prints.
Stocked full of freshly-baked pastries and yummy baguettes, with that intrinsically relaxing aroma of freshly-roasted coffee. I may just make it the new Caroline Gibson Prints HQ.

Night of a Thousand (ish) Candles and Woodstock Festive Fayre
Friday 29th-30th November 2024
With Christmas a mere seven weeks away, where better to usher in the Christmas spirit than an idyllic Cotswold country town Christmas Fair. It’s straight out of the movie ‘The Holiday’. There’ll be gifts galore from a vast array of talented artisans in St Mary’s Church and I’ll be there with my lovely prints and woodStocking Fillers.
So come into the church, stock up on prezzies, and if only by way of a hand-warmer, you can sup a hot chocolate with marshmallows or a spicy Mulled Wine, and fill-up on a hog roast. Then out to the town square to countdown the Christmas tree illumination.
If you happen to miss it…worry not…my full collection is always available at Gleide Home Decor, by the crossing.

Move over, Vogue...it's the Woodstock and Bladon News

I'm SO excited to have made the front cover of the Woodstock and Bladon News (it's actually a better read than Vogue and Tatler).
November's all about Bonfire night for me. This print shows The Star Inn in Woodstock with its banging-crackling fireworks lighting up the town square and many a cold dark evening.
The pub is a firm favourite with us locals and is the jewel of the town square. It's your archetypal British pub, with cosy roaring fires, Sunday roasts and plenty of hustle and bustle. Throughout the year, the fireworks over The Star are a sight to behold.
Each print is cut, rolled and coloured by hand, using the relief printmaking method of linocut printing. So if you'd like different coloured fireworks to match your home colour scheme, please just ask. I also offer all my prints as greeting cards.

Launching my new range of Mugs

In preparation for this year's Woodstock Festive Fair in November, I've been busy in the studio creating my 'woodStocking Fillers'.
The first set in this new range are my 'Wonderful Woodstock' mugs. All totally battle-proof -- after your perfect brew these can be chucked in the dishwasher. They also come in a cute little gift box, so they're the perfect gift or stocking filler!
Go on...you know you want one ;-)

Four-Star Feathers Hotel features my prints

In other news...the fantastically elegant Feathers Hotel in Woodstock has requested two of my prints for its Reception. They will be for sale alongside other local artists' work on a super-stylish gallery wall.
In the heart of historic Woodstock, the luxurious, newly refurbished boutique hotel is a real treat for the senses. It also has the best courtyard in town, which I happen to know is the only one that captures that precious last bit of evening sun. ​So pop in for a coffee, beer...mojito, a mouth-wateringly tasty meal or a cosy stay. Sit back and relax, and enjoy my scenes of Woodstock in style.​​​
As featured in Cotswold Life Magazine, 'Off down The Prince' will be a permanent feature, along with its brother 'The Boys are back in town' (showing Blenheim's geese migration).

Oxford Cornmarket Street Opening!!
29th June 2024
From the 29th June, all my work will be available to buy, right slap-bang in the middle of Oxford City Centre, on Cornmarket Street. The Crafters Emporium will be moving from The High/Covered Market to 42 Cornmarket (almost directly opposite Pret a Manger, WHSmith, the Jesus College student digs/accommodation and The Cosy Club).
In celebration of this monumentous move I'll be launching my new 'Graduation' print. So watch this space for Graduation gifts!

From 4th-27th May, over a thousand artists, makers and designers will exhibit and demonstrate in artists' studios, pop-up galleries, glorious gardens, ancient churches, Oxford Colleges and hundreds of other interesting venues. Just drop-in and explore for free.

This weekend…Why not treat yourself to a wander around the art-filled windows of Woodstock and soak up the arty atmosphere in the church. There is a beautiful map showing you our ‘mindful meander’ route to help. Then fall into one of the many fabulous cafes and pubs here in Woodstock.

I joined the rest of Artists in Woodstock to show my work in the many windows of the town, and turning Woodstock into one huge art exhibition. We had fantastic support from Wake up to Woodstock, all the shops, pubs, cafes, and locals. My artwork was was selling in both Gleide Home Decor and Loft Lifestyle.
